Take your defensive game to the next level with Australian Diamond Maddy Turner!

Belle Netball is giving young netballers the incredible opportunity to learn directly from one of Australia’s elite defenders in a small-group defensive clinic at Lemon Grove Netball Courts.

Designed specifically for developing defenders, these sessions will focus on the skills, movement and decision-making that make a difference on court. Maddy will work closely with players on defensive footwork, body positioning, timing, reading the play, applying pressure and creating intercept opportunities — sharing the knowledge and techniques she has developed throughout her elite netball career.

With limited numbers in each session, players will receive plenty of individual feedback, coaching and opportunities to put their new skills into practice.

Ages 8–10 | 3pm (just announced) & 4:15pm Building strong defensive foundations, confidence and good habits from an early age.

Ages 11–14 | 5:30pm Developing more advanced defensive technique, game awareness, pressure and the ability to win ball.
